Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Project Manager in Tarrytown, NY.

Responsibilities:
* Lead medium to large IT initiatives focused on platform transformations, including intranet site implementations and enhancements
* Manage projects from discovery and planning through implementation, delivery, and closeout
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, milestones, and key deliverables
* Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, define scope, and establish project objectives
* Track project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
* Identify and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and recommended solutions
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, technical resources, and third-party vendors throughout project execution
* Prepare and communicate project status updates, forecasts, financial information, and supporting documentation
* Support business case development, project estimates, resource planning, and investment decisions
* Monitor project financials to ensure forecasts and actual expenditures remain aligned
* Maintain project documentation and ensure technology deliverables meet established quality and timing requirements
* Facilitate project closeout and lessons-learned activities to support ongoing process improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
* Extensive IT project management experience, including large-scale platform transformation and intranet initiatives
* Strong understanding of SDLC and project management practices, including planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and change management
* Experience leading technology projects through the full development and implementation lifecycle
* Demonstrated ability to work with business and technical stakeholders within complex, cross-functional environments
* Experience coordinating third-party vendors, contractors, and external resources
* Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
* Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint or comparable project collaboration tools
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders
* Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects toward successful outcomes
* Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
