Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY.

Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, enterprise-wide security infrastructure transformation initiative. This individual will own project delivery from initiation through implementation, driving cross-functional alignment, executive reporting, risk management, and successful execution across global technology and security teams.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of a strategic global security project
* Manage the migration of firewall configurations and security policies from Palo Alto Panorama to Palo Alto Strata, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities
* Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and delivery metrics
* Own project governance, including status reporting, executive communications, RAID logs, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution
* Manage and optimize Jira boards to ensure accurate tracking of project progress, deliverables, and team commitments
* Partner with security, infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution across multiple workstreams
* Influence and lead senior stakeholders and strong personalities, ensuring decisions are made and project objectives remain on track
* Drive accountability across distributed teams and coordinate activities through project completion
* Identify and proactively manage project risks, escalations, and dependencies to minimize delivery impacts

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of Project Management experience leading large-scale infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology initiatives
* Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs within global organizations
* Strong expertise with Jira, project governance, RAID management, executive reporting, and project controls
* Demonstrated success managing multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership and technically complex teams
* Exceptional leadership, communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
* Ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across diverse teams and competing priorities
* Experience managing firewall, network security, or cybersecurity transformation projects is highly preferred
* Prior experience with Palo Alto Networks, including Panorama and Strata, is strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
