This is a W2 contract opportunity, and the candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C.
Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: W2 Contract 12 months
Work Schedule: Onsite-Hybrid
Schedule: 3 days in office
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Required Skills:
- Data Engineering experience
- Proficiency in Database, SQL, and PL/SQL skills.
- Experience with Python or Java
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
- Experience with Parquet files in S3 buckets
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Performance Tuning and Automation: Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including any report automations involved.
- Agile Methodology: Experience in working on Agile projects, including participation in Backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Daily stand-up meetings.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), or Microsoft Azure
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
