Position: Project Manager, (Exp with Tealium)
Location: Reston, VA (Remote)
Contract: 8 Months (Contract)
Profile: Solid Project Manager with Customer Data Platform (CDP) implementation experience to lead and coordinate Client s responsibilities for the Tealium CDP implementation. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between Client s and Tealium, ensuring project scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met across multiple internal teams. The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving execution, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of Client s owned tasks required for project success.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Coordination
- Serve as the main Client s point of contact for the Tealium Implementation project
- Drive definition and alignment of project use cases, business requirements, and success criteria
- Own delivery of Client s scope as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Coordinate across technical, marketing, data, and business stakeholders
Project Management & Execution
- Lead Client s participation in project kickoff, recurring weekly status meetings, working sessions, and project closeout
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items
- Ensure timely completion of all Client s-owned tasks and deliverables
- Manage internal schedules and resource availability to support the project timeline
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate collaboration between Client s teams and Tealium project resources
- Ensure appropriate technical and business resources attend required meetings and working sessions
- Communicate status updates, risks, and decisions clearly to internal stakeholders
Requirements & Readiness
- Coordinate provision of:
- Access to test and staging environments
- Required documentation, data samples, and configuration details
- Sample file imports and connector requirements
- Ensure internal teams are prepared for data layer discussions, validation activities, and integrations
Quality & Delivery Assurance
- Support validation of data collection, enrichment, and integrations
- Ensure Client s teams review and sign off on project outcomes
- Help manage scope changes and support any required change order discussions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in digital, data, marketing technology, or SaaS implementations
- Proven experience managing cross-functional technical projects
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), preferably Tealium
- Experience with analytics, martech, or tagging/implementation projects
- Familiarity with Tealium, Adobe, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Experience PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification a plus
Engagement Expectations
- High level of engagement throughout the project lifecycle
- Availability for multiple meetings per week, including multi-hour working sessions as needed
- Ability to proactively identify risks, dependencies, and timeline impacts
