Job Description

The State Corporation Commission (SCC) is seeking an experienced Oracle eBusiness Suite Programmer Analyst to serve as one of two senior developers supporting its HR and Financial Oracle EBS application (eSCC).

The selected candidate will work within a four-member Agile development team to develop application solutions, process complex backlog items, support production operations, and translate business requirements into database and application enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Oracle EBS 12.2 or above.

  • Support Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements.

  • Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and implement Oracle EBS programs.

  • Perform production application administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Develop using Oracle Forms/Reports, JDeveloper, Java, Workflow Builder, and PL/SQL.

  • Perform unit and system testing and support UAT.

  • Define input/output requirements and support production turnover.

  • Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

  • Follow coding standards, development policies, and code-review procedures.

  • Collaborate with the Agile team and provide knowledge transfer to SCC staff.

Required Skills

8 years of experience required in each listed category:

  • Oracle EBS 12.2+ in Linux environments hosted on OCI.

  • Oracle EBS development for AP, GL, and Purchasing.

  • iRecruitment, HR, and Time and Labor modules.

  • Oracle Forms/Reports, JDeveloper (Java), Workflow Builder, and PL/SQL.

  • Systems analysis and design.

  • Microsoft Office, Visio, and SharePoint.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Written and verbal communication.

  • Independent work and team collaboration.

  • Self-directed and motivated development approach.

Desired Skills

  • Azure DevOps.

  • Virginia Cardinal HR and/or Financial system.

  • Power BI paginated reports, desktop reports, and dashboards.

Mandatory Hybrid Schedule

Candidates must work onsite at 1300 E Main Street, Richmond, VA, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
