Data Center Environment
We are seeking Audit Technician II professionals to support a large-scale data center project in New Albany, OH. This role is ideal for cable technicians, fiber technicians, and low-voltage professionals who have strong troubleshooting skills and experience validating network infrastructure.
As an Audit Technician II, you will be responsible for auditing, validating, testing, and troubleshooting fiber and copper infrastructure to ensure network systems are installed correctly and operating as designed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fiber infrastructure audits and validation activities
  • Test and certify cabling using OTDRs, Fluke testers, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot Layer 1 connectivity issues
  • Verify fiber routes, circuit connectivity, labels, and documentation accuracy
  • Identify installation discrepancies and support corrective actions
  • Validate inventory and network asset records
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues
  • Create detailed audit findings and documentation reports

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with fiber testing and validation
  • OTDR and/or Fluke testing experience
  • Strong Layer 1 troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of fiber and copper network infrastructure
  • Ability to read technical documentation, drawings, and network designs
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred Experience

  • Structured cabling installations
  • Fiber optic troubleshooting
  • Fiber splicing
  • Cat5e/Cat6 cable installation and testing
  • Data center, telecom, ISP, or enterprise network environments

Schedule

The team is currently working 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts due to project demands and being behind schedule. Once the project is back on track, the expected schedule will generally be 5 days per week, 10-hour shifts, with occasional on-call responsibilities as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
