Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Engineer to design and implement scalable business solutions supporting critical public health programs. You will leverage your expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem to develop custom applications, optimize data models, and ensure system security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable business solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Build and maintain model-driven and canvas applications, including advanced configuration of forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows.
• Customize and extend Dynamics 365 applications (Customer Service, Field Service, Finance & Operations) to meet complex business requirements.
• Develop and implement C# plugins, custom workflows, and JavaScript-based form scripting to support advanced business logic.
• Architect and manage Dataverse data models, including entities (tables), relationships, and data structures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions with external systems (Azure Functions, REST APIs, SharePoint, SQL, ERP/CRM systems, and third-party services).
• Manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes, including solution design, version control, deployment, patching, and environment promotion (Dev/Test/Prod).
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and report solutions to support operational and executive decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s or Master''s Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with MS Dynamics 365.
• 5+ years of experience with PowerApps and Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience with workflow design and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL, Microsoft Active Directory/AAD, and PowerShell.
• 5+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, and RSS.
• 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing enterprise-level systems architectures.
• Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS.
• Candidate must be a CURRENT SC, NC, or GA resident and be willing to relocate to SC prior to the start date at their own expense.

Work Environment: This role requires a hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite in Cayce, SC, and 1 day of remote work per week (the remote day goes into effect after the first month of employment).

Employment Type: Contract. We are open to W2, 1099, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements.
