Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across technology spend categories. This role will focus on supplier negotiations, contract execution, and end-to-end sourcing support across software, hardware, cloud, and IT services. You will partner with technical and business stakeholders to drive cost-effective and scalable sourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing efforts across technology categories including software, hardware, and cloud services.
- Own the full sourcing lifecycle from intake through contract execution, including stakeholder alignment and supplier negotiations.
- Drive and manage RFP and RFI processes, developing sourcing strategies and evaluating vendor responses.
- Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with technology suppliers, focusing on pricing, licensing, and SLAs to identify cost savings.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to analyze vendor capabilities and pricing trends.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.
Technical Skills: Strong experience negotiating technology contracts (software, SaaS, cloud preferred) and a proven track record managing RFP/RFI processes end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise technology organizations.
- Familiarity working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
