We are seeking an experienced
Senior Security Service Technician to join our growing
Technical Services Group in Charlotte, NC. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned security professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with customers, and helping build a strong regional presence.
This position will play a key role in
service delivery, system commissioning, and technical support across commercial security platforms including intrusion, access control, fire, and video systems. The Charlotte office is a strategic focus area for the organization, and leadership is committed to rebuilding and expanding the market with top-tier technical talent.

What You'll DoAs a Senior Security Service Technician, you will be responsible for both
hands-on technical execution and
advanced troubleshooting, including:
Technical & Service Responsibilities- Install, configure, program, and commission commercial security systems, including:
- Intrusion / Burglar Alarm Systems
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / Video Surveillance
- Fire Alarm (as applicable)
- Provide advanced technical support remotely and on customer sites
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and drive efficient resolutions
- Perform final system testing, validation, and client acceptance
Customer & Team Engagement- Deliver professional end-user training on system operation
- Work closely with Installation, Project Management, Engineering, and Service teams
- Support and mentor other technical specialists when needed
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and consistently exceed expectations
Documentation & Quality- Complete service tickets, reports, and commissioning documentation accurately
- Maintain organized records and follow company and industry best practices
- Uphold high workmanship standards and ensure clean, professional job sites
Required Experience & Skills- 3-5+ years of experience in electronic security systems or related IT environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- CCTV / Video Surveillance
- Access Control Systems
- Intrusion / Alarm Systems
- Commercial cabling and system integration
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with software-driven systems
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
Preferred Qualifications- Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, or equivalent field experience
- Experience with platforms such as Lenel or similar enterprise systems
- Manufacturer certifications or industry licenses (a strong plus)
- Background in service, commissioning, or advanced technical support environments
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
