Security Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-site)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Engineer to support a Secure Browser product. This role involves dedicated engineering for this complex product, its expansion into the Enterprise, and advanced troubleshooting. The position will support various platforms, including Windows Enterprise OS, MAC, and Mobile Intune environments, as use cases expand beyond the initial pilot phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated engineering and support for a secure browsing product.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across Windows, MAC, and Mobile Intune platforms.
• Manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) products and associated policies.
• Develop and maintain policies using regular expressions (REGEX) and URL syntax.
• Modify and troubleshoot Robotic Process Automation (RPA) scripts.
• Utilize development tools for log captures and analysis.
• Manage and administer a secure browsing product with a desktop component and a centralized backend.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Windows and MAC operating systems.
• Proficiency with command line and PowerShell scripting.
• Expertise in REGEX (Regular Expression).
• Direct experience with the management of a secure browsing product.
• Experience with HTML and web coding.
• Familiarity with security products such as Trellix, Crowdstrike, or Microsoft EDR.
• Experience with MS Windows Server.

Experience:

• Extensive support and troubleshooting experience within a large enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with users at multiple levels.
