We are seeking a proficient Solutions Engineer to join a team focused on building and enhancing an Ansible Automation Platform for the enterprise. This role involves handling components of complex engineering and analytical tasks, participating in the design and development of systems engineering activities, and serving as a key technical resource. The successful candidate will help establish processes for hardware compatibility and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of an enterprise-wide Ansible Automation Platform.
- Manage components of complex engineering and analytical tasks and activities.
- Assist in defining input/output processes and parameters for hardware compatibility and subsystem integration.
- Develop controls for automation platforms with a focus on shared content across enterprise tools.
- Implement the SDLC chain for managing automation content.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, including technical support and systems programming.
- Influence and direct team activities related to special initiatives or operations.
- Consider applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for symbiotic alignment and to augment service offerings.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of top-tier systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
- 5+ years of experience with TrueSight Server Orchestrator.
- 5+ years of experience in expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting.
Technical Skills:- Scripting languages such as YAML, XML, Python, Perl, and Shell.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to understand complex application infrastructure and model for compliance reporting.
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
Professional Skills:- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals across the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with multiple groups to gather business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Github Copilot.
- Knowledge of TrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic).
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week on-site.
