This role is part of a dynamic team building and enhancing an Ansible Automation Platform for the Enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for components of complex engineering and analytical tasks. This position serves as a proficient technical resource, providing technical knowledge and capabilities as both a team member and an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop controls for automation platforms with a focus on shared content across Enterprise tools.
- Implement the SDLC chain for managing automation content.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, including technical support and data center capabilities.
- Assist in establishing input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and subsystem integration.
- Influence and direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations.
- Consider applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for alignment and opportunities to augment service offerings.
- Incorporate AI channels into standard practice to foster productivity, consistency, and quality.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Typically 5 or more years of top-tier systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years with Ansible Automation Platform.
- 5+ years with TrueSight Server Orchestrator.
- 5+ years of expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals across the organization.
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
Technical Skills:- Scripting languages: yaml, xml, python, perl, shell.
- Ability to understand complex application infrastructure and model for compliance reporting.
Professional Skills:- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
- Strong organizational, analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work with multiple groups to gather business requirements for product evidence and license compliance.
- Commitment to overall organization goals as a strong team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Github Copilot is a plus.
- Experience with TrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic) will be helpful.
Work Environment
This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
