Security & Compliance Manager

Description

We are looking for a Security & Compliance Manager to oversee the security framework and ensure robust protection across systems, applications, and networks. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management practices. Based in Torrance, California, this position offers the opportunity to shape security policies and guide the organization's response to emerging threats.

Responsibilities:
Manage the vulnerability assessment process, including incident response, threat investigation, and monitoring security systems.
Establish and maintain secure configurations and hardening standards across systems.
Administer security controls, such as encryption protocols, network boundaries, and cloud security guardrails.
Collaborate on designing and approving security measures for new systems, applications, and infrastructure updates.
Oversee identity security, privileged access management, and periodic access reviews.
Provide guidance and governance for security within DevOps pipelines and cloud deployment processes.
Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, standards, and awareness training programs.
Lead risk assessments, security audits, and vendor risk evaluations to ensure compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Govern the Disaster Recovery program, including documentation, planning exercises, and remediation efforts, in partnership with infrastructure teams.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years' experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
Expertise in application security, network security, and enterprise-level protection strategies.
Proficiency with security tools and platforms, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
Strong knowledge of EDIFACT protocols and TCP/IP networking principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage cloud security and DevOps integration.
Skilled in developing and implementing security policies and governance frameworks.
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities.
