Description Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a Marketing Events Technologist for a long-term contract role in Boston. This is a hybrid, 40-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be able to work onsite 2-3 days/week. This role will support both virtual and live events within the professional services industry. The position will not be responsible for event execution, rather all technology- and marketing platform-related activities including Cvent implementation, email automation, and website management/optimization. The ideal candidate will leverage event technology expertise to help deliver seamless and impactful marketing events.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage event technology platforms (e.g., Cvent)
- Build and optimize event websites and apps
- Track and report on event data and performance
- Coordinate virtual and live event logistics
- Use HubSpot and similar tools for marketing data and automation
- Collaborate with teams to align event strategies with marketing goals
- Conduct research on trends and event innovation
- Support web development for event sites
- Ensure brand consistency and high-quality user experience
Requirements - Degree in marketing, communications, or related
- 4+ years' experience with event technology (Cvent preferred)
- Proficient in HubSpot or related marketing automation platforms
- Knowledge of CMS platforms like Drupal, Sitecore, or similar
- Knowledge of event logistics, both virtual and live
- Analytical with experience in event data reporting
- Familiar with web development and front-end frameworks a plus
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in financial services or other professional services industry a plus
