Web Content Specialist

Description

Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a detail-oriented Web Content Specialist for a 2-week contract position in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will focus on updating and maintaining website directories while ensuring accuracy and accessibility of content. This position requires a strong understanding of content management systems and web accessibility standards.

Responsibilities:

Transfer and organize content from Excel sheets into the appropriate directory pages using Sitecore.

Edit and update directory pages to ensure all information is accurate and current.

Test web pages to verify functionality and adherence to accessibility standards.

Ensure compliance with web accessibility guidelines throughout the content update process.

Gain necessary IT access to systems and tools to complete the project efficiently.

Perform quality checks and troubleshoot any issues during the content update process.

Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the directory update workflow.

Requirements

Proficiency in using Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly Sitecore.
Experience in web content management and editing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
Familiarity with web accessibility standards and testing.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and directories within tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Basic understanding of IT systems and tools relevant to web production.
Previous experience working on web production projects is preferred.
