Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Sponsored Repo to support front-to-back trade lifecycle initiatives, regulatory reporting, and system enhancements within capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze and document business requirements for Sponsored Repo transactions and related financing products.
Work closely with traders, treasury teams, risk, and operations to understand repo workflows including:

Trade capture
Collateral allocation & optimization
Margining & settlement

Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.
Support system implementation and enhancements for repo platforms and clearing solutions (e.g., triparty agents, CCP clearing).
Perform data analysis on repo trades, collateral, and funding metrics.
Assist in regulatory reporting (e.g., SFTR, liquidity ratios like LCR/NSFR).
Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate system outputs.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities in financing workflows.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as custodians and clearing houses.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of:

Sponsored Repo / Sponsored Access models
Securities lending & borrowing
Collateral management

Requirement gathering & documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
Process mapping (As-Is / To-Be workflows)
Strong stakeholder communication

Technical Skills

SQL / Excel for data analysis
Experience with financial systems (e.g., Calypso, Murex, Broadridge, or similar)
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
