Job Title: Shipping and Inventory Coordinator
Job Location: Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders within defined service level timelines.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while handling shipping and inventory processes.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely in a warehouse environment using appropriate safety practices.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Maintain a customer service-focused approach in all tasks.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipment and inventory records.
  • Update shipping databases daily with shipment details including tracking information and order specifics.
  • Coordinate bulk distribution of orders as required.
  • Receive stock, verify quantities, and ensure proper documentation within required timelines.
  • Manage inventory including stock replenishment, organization, and FIFO rotation.
  • Participate in workplace safety initiatives and support warehouse safety standards.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and handle boxes up to 35 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to type accurately at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Valid driver s license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a reach truck.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping and inventory control within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with inventory counting and reconciliation in computerized systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Process shipping and inventory transactions accurately.
  • Maintain and update shipment records and databases.
  • Coordinate inventory movement and stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and warehouse standards.
  • Support receiving and verification of incoming goods.
  • Participate in safety inspections and warehouse operations.
Should Have:
  • Valid reach truck certification.
  • Experience with supply chain or inventory management software.
  • Experience with data entry and processing.
  • Familiarity with shipping platforms and waybill processing systems.
  • Experience operating additional material handling equipment.
  • Experience working with controlled or high-value inventory.
  • Experience with workplace safety committees or safety protocols.

Qualification And Education:
