Job Overview: As an Engineer 2, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve complex business problems. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will represent your department on challenging assignments and evaluate the effectiveness of technology through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation. Your role will involve making recommendations to improve quality and efficiency, while ensuring solutions align with customer expectations. In this position on the Marketing DevOps team, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, focusing on building AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform and continuous integration & deployment automation methodologies. You will also identify and implement changes to enhance the team's efficiency in delivering secure, compliant, high-performing, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities: - Serve as a subject matter expert in your area of focus.
- Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, and research.
- Recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Build and maintain AWS and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment automation methodologies.
- Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as security, compliance, performance, and cost.
- Manage end-to-end application platforms, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment of Java-based backend services and frontend applications.
- Quickly triage problems, determine root cause, and drive resolution.
Qualifications: - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Linux Shell (Bash), and Python.
- Experience with IAAS IaC tools like Terraform and its scripting language HCL.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EBS, CloudFront, S3, and Route53.
- Experience managing Java-based backend services and frontend applications built with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- AWS cloud certifications.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems like Adobe Experience Manager.
- Automation mindset to implement consistent and repeatable processes.
- Understanding of Open Source automation tools such as Chef or Ansible.
- General understanding of Network DNS, firewalls, routing, Imperva, and certificate management.

Pay Range: $55 - $60
