Job DescriptionJoin JPMorgan Chase as a Software Engineer in Corporate Technology's Workforce Experience Technology team, where you will play a key role in an agile environment to design, build, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable, market-leading technology products while driving critical solutions across technical domains to support the firm's business goals.
Job responsibilities - Works with stakeholders to review and gather requirements.
- Creates technical requirement documents.
- Builds custom extracts and reports on Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) cloud using the available framework.
- Understands and customizes seeded reports on Oracle HCM cloud.
- Builds proficiency with the HCM modules Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Core HR, Talent & Performance Management, Time & Absence, Payroll, and other areas as required.
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Hands-on experience on Oracle HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OTBI
- Knowledge of seeded reports in Oracle HCM Cloud
- Oracle HCM Fast Formula
- Good verbal communication, written and presentation skills
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Knowledge of Oracle HCM cloud functional modules
- Detail-oriented, team player and who could thrive in a collaborative environment
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and AI tools
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
