Join our Health & Public Service team as a Lead Epic Cogito Reporting Analyst, where you will serve as the core technical subject matter expert for our analytics and reporting platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between clinical requirements and production-grade data engineering by architecting data pipelines and optimization tools. This is a 100% remote opportunity supporting vital healthcare IT infrastructure that directly impacts operational efficiency and data governance.

responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy robust SSIS packages to manage ETL processes between Epic modules (Clarity/Caboodle) and downstream applications.
- Create and optimize sophisticated SQL server objects, including complex queries, stored procedures, CTEs, and indexing strategies for ad-hoc and production systems.
- Develop, maintain, and publish Epic Cogito analytics assets such as Report Workbench tools, dashboards, and catalog items.
- Provide incident resolution, maintain operational SLAs, monitor ETL health with SQL Server Agent, and collaborate effectively with clinical stakeholders and offshore technical support teams.
qualifications:
4+ years of dedicated Epic reporting and healthcare analytics experience.
Active, current Epic Cogito Certification with a commitment to maintaining certification throughout the project assignment.
3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL pipeline engineering, including full lifecycle design and deployment of SSIS packages.
Advanced expertise in SQL Server database development (SSMS, Visual Studio, writing complex scripts, and query optimization).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active certifications or deep structural knowledge in Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle data models.
Experience with SlicerDicer data configuration and architectural fact/dimension modeling.
Prior experience interfacing directly with clinical staff to translate business rules into secure, HIPAA-compliant technical documentation.
