Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid _3 onsite/2 remote.)
Duration: 1 year
Responsibilities:
- Configuring, testing, deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting cloud and on-premise telecom solutions and services
- Monitoring system performance and call quality, and leading efforts resolve performance issues
- Integrating third party applications with Teams Phone, Five9 and other County voice services
- Assessing impacts and risks of both scheduled and unplanned service updates and alerts
- Serving as technical subject matter expert for large technical initiatives
- Providing Tier 3 response and support for complex service impacting incidents and problems
- Working closely with internal staff (ex. security, network, AD) and managed services provider for solution implementation and issue resolution
- Recommending, evaluating, developing and recommending new products to enhance service offerings
- Leading implementation of changes to existing solutions
- Reviewing and approving technical changes submitting through formal change management process
- Contributing to the development of the long-term strategy
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of telecommunications and networking experience with technologies such as PSTN, VoIP, call centers, IVR, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, SBCs, QoS, cloud
- Direct experience with Cisco Call Manager and Teams Phone
- Direct experience with Five9 or similar CCaaS product
- Experience working in federal, state or local government
