Senior Program Manager - Data GovernanceLocation: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ month contract with potential for extension (possible CTH)
Rate: $63-68/hr
Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Program Manager to support a growing
Data Governance / Data Quality initiative within the enterprise data organization. This role will play a critical part in driving data quality, trust, and governance programs as the team scales across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, senior-level program or project manager with strong experience working alongside
data, IT, and analytics teams. This is not a note-taking role - the Program Manager will actively manage scope, timelines, dependencies, communication, and execution while translating technical work for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a large, enterprise-level data governance initiative, with responsibility expanding to multiple projects over time
- Track and manage program scope, milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Own documentation related to program plans, timelines, budgeting, forecasting, and status reporting
- Partner closely with data governance, data quality, IT, and business stakeholders
- Translate technical concepts, progress, and risks into clear updates for senior leadership
- Support a growing data governance team as it expands (including additional data quality analyst roles)
- Ensure alignment across teams as data governance efforts scale across the enterprise
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of senior-level Program Management or Project Management experience
- Experience working in or alongside data-focused teams (data governance, data quality, data management, analytics, or similar)
- Strong understanding of data governance concepts, including:
- Data quality and trust
- Data management programs
- Data stewards and operating models
- Data catalogs and metadata management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders and leadership
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives in fast-moving, evolving environments
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting enterprise data governance or data quality programs
- Background working in large, regulated, or complex enterprise environments
- Strong technical aptitude - the more technical, the better
Team & Environment
- The data governance team is currently a small, growing group (currently 2 core members, with recent additions)
- The program is gaining traction and visibility across the organization
- This role will start focused on one major initiative and grow in scope as the program expands
