Oversee network architecture, deployment, and operations, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational policies. Your expertise will support strategic planning, network security, and the integration of new technologies, contributing to the continued success of military network infrastructure. A key part of your responsibilities includes collaborating with technical teams, developing policies, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee network systems, topology, and architecture to ensure operational integrity
- Develop, implement, and enforce standards, procedures, and policies for the Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Support strategic planning, including contingency operations and technology refreshes
- Advise administrators and technical staff on integrated network solutions and system enhancements
- Monitor network performance, analyze system data, and prepare detailed status reports
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and proactive cybersecurity measures
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture and operational procedures
- Support and ensure compliance with security protocols, including cyber defense initiatives
This person will oversee network operations in the NOC, ensuring uptime, performance, and security across the enterprise. They'll manage network ops staff, monitor activity, respond to incidents, enforce processes, and coordinate maintenance while also supporting cybersecurity efforts and longer-term planning like tech refresh and contingency operations.
