Role: Ironclad CLM Integration Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ironclad CLM Integration Developer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Ironclad workflow automation, custom API integrations, Salesforce connectivity, middleware platforms, and eSignature solutions. This role will be responsible for building scalable integrations, optimizing contract workflows, and ensuring seamless data synchronization across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex Ironclad workflows including conditional logic, approval chains, routing rules, and automated contract processes.
- Administer and maintain Ironclad repositories, schema configurations, smart alerts, user permissions, and platform governance.
- Develop and support custom integrations using Ironclad REST APIs across Data, Workflow, and Document layers.
- Implement and manage Salesforce integrations, including bidirectional record synchronization, workflow triggers, and data mapping.
- Leverage middleware/iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, or Tray.io to build scalable integrations between Ironclad and enterprise applications.
- Configure and manage webhooks, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and secure API communications.
- Enable upstream and downstream synchronization of contract metadata with CRM, procurement, finance, and business intelligence platforms.
- Integrate and automate eSignature workflows using DocuSign, Adobe Sign, Dropbox Sign, or equivalent platforms.
- Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize system performance, and provide ongoing support for production environments.
Required Skills & Experience
Ironclad Workflow Designer (3+ Years)
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing complex Ironclad workflows.
- Expertise in conditional logic, approval routing, workflow automation, and process optimization.
Ironclad Core Administration (2+ Years)
- Experience managing repositories, schema configurations, smart alerts, permissions, and platform administration.
- Ironclad Administrator Certification preferred.
Ironclad REST API Development (3+ Years)
- Strong understanding of Ironclad APIs, including:
- Data Layer
- Workflow Layer
- Document Layer
- Experience building and maintaining custom integrations.
Salesforce Native Integration (3+ Years)
- Experience integrating Ironclad with Salesforce.
- Knowledge of data mapping, workflow triggering, and bidirectional record synchronization.
Middleware / iPaaS Platforms (3+ Years)
- Hands-on experience with:
- MuleSoft
- Workato
- Tray.io
- Similar integration platforms
- Ability to build scalable and maintainable integrations.
Webhooks & OAuth 2.0 Authentication (3+ Years)
- Experience configuring webhook-based event processing.
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization frameworks.
Enterprise System Synchronization (2+ Years)
- Experience integrating contract metadata with enterprise systems such as:
- Salesforce
- ZIP
- Coupa
- ERP Systems
- BI Platforms
- Finance Applications
eSignature Workflow Integration (2+ Years)
- Experience implementing and managing automated signing workflows using:
- DocuSign
- Adobe Sign
- Dropbox Sign
- Similar eSignature solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Ironclad Administrator or Integration Certifications.
- Experience working in Legal Operations, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), or Enterprise SaaS environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with procurement and legal technology ecosystems.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and data governance best practices.
- Experience integrating with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Familiarity with cloud-native integration patterns and event-driven architectures.
