Job Description:
Programmer Analyst - .NET, C# (Associate or Mid-Level)

Location: North Charleston, South Carolina (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite after training is complete)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Programmer Analyst for a position in North Charleston, SC. This role involves maintaining and incrementally modernizing legacy applications that are essential to production fabrication and assembly systems. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, willing to work in a production support environment, and comfortable engaging with existing code to provide real-time support and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support, troubleshoot, and maintain existing legacy applications in a production environment.
  • Work with systems that have been incrementally developed and enhance them over time.
  • Engage with factory floor operations teams to resolve application issues in real-time.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide production support as needed.
  • Perform the design, program, test, and implementation of computing applications and software.
  • Collaborate with product managers, technical team members, and business stakeholders on application enhancements.
  • Analyze end-user processes to define application requirements.
  • Modify or upgrade applications to maintain functionality and performance.


Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in a software development life cycle, including application development and support.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile product development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with existing/legacy applications and navigate complex codebases.
  • Experience supporting production systems and engaging directly with operations teams.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong fundamentals and professional experience with .NET, C#, and Visual Basic.
  • Experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery).
  • Understanding of solid programming principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience with additional languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with front-end web development technologies like HTML/CSS, JQuery, and Ajax.
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems or Numerical Control (NC) Programming.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes-based platforms.
