Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Hadoop Developer to analyze, design, develop, enhance, and support applications that integrate with existing business components. This role involves utilizing established processes, frameworks, and technologies to deliver robust solutions. The developer will work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and lead application team members using an Agile process.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and enhance applications by integrating with business components.
- Develop and support new and existing project requirements, coordinating with business teams to analyze potential impacts of changes.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of application and process issues, including problem identification and coordination with support teams.
- Design and develop solutions using a diverse technology stack and lead onsite/offshore team members.
- Communicate work progress to management, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize project impact.
- Provide on-call support for critical systems and applications as needed.
- Learn business processes and apply this knowledge to assigned development tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise-level applications and processes. Expertise with multiple technology skills and different technology stacks is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hadoop, Python, and Teradata is required for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.06 per hour. Benefits are available to eligible employees.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position that requires 8 hours per day. The role involves working within a technical labor type environment.
