Job Title: Specialty Software Engineer 4 / ServiceNow Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX - Hybrid (3 days onsite mandatory)
Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $81 - $87
Top Requirements:6+ years of ServiceNow development experience with strong platform engineering expertiseServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications (required)Strong JavaScript / GlideScript experience and integration development capabilitiesPlusses:Full-stack Java development backgroundExperience with automation/testing tools (Playwright, ATF)Experience with ServiceNow integrations and API developmentExperience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) or enterprise service platformsExperience working in Agile environments and global teamsJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform solutions
- Build and customize ServiceNow modules including Enterprise Services Portfolio (ESP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Develop scripts using JavaScript and GlideScript to enhance platform functionality
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and delivery
- Collaborate with platform engineering and production support teams
- Lead and contribute to system enhancements, new feature development, and issue resolution
- Support automation efforts, including testing frameworks such as Playwright and ATF
- Ensure compliance with enterprise risk and governance standards
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues and integrations
- Work with globally distributed teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and platform configurations
