This role is responsible for the governance of hardware and software products that are approaching or have surpassed end of support (EoS). The consultant will consult on complex initiatives, review and analyze large-scale business execution challenges, and contribute to resolving situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, and compliance. The position involves ensuring that supporting EoS ServiceNow functionality operates as expected, managing enhancements, creating user stories, and performing testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern and manage hardware and software products approaching or exceeding end-of-support (EoS).
- Maintain and enhance ServiceNow functionality that supports EoS processes.
- Create, prioritize, and refine user stories, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Perform testing and validation, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Leverage ServiceNow CMDB data and Power BI to identify potential issues and risks.
- Partner with Product Owners and technology teams to develop and track remediation plans.
- Actively follow up on at-risk items to drive accountability and timely resolution.
- Escalate issues where remediation progress does not align with policy or risk expectations.
- Develop clear, concise presentation materials for executive, risk committee, and governance reporting.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning.
Technical Skills: Strong data analytics background with proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel. Experience with policy governance, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies, including writing user stories, participating in scrum routines, and testing.
Professional Skills: Strong collaboration and partnership skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. Capable of representing complex data in an executive presentation format to enable action.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data and ServiceNow enhancements.
- Experience building executive-level reporting and presentations using PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Postman, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience in a governance, risk, or compliance-driven environment.
- Proficiency with the broader Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access) and SharePoint.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $61.00 and $65.00 per hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
