Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving Agile excellence and facilitating project delivery across technology and business teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead project facilitation and Agile methodologies across technology portfolios.
  • Mentor and coach Scrum teams to enhance their performance and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and delivery leads to refine and maintain product backlogs.
  • Facilitate all Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor team progress and provide transparency through accurate reporting of Agile performance metrics.
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth team progress and delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and process inspections.
Skills
  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Agile team competencies.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to propose solutions to process gaps.
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor teams on AI usage to enhance productivity.
Preferred Skills
  • Scrum Master certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in facilitating large-scale workshops or cross-functional sessions.
  • Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) in project management.
  • Familiarity with life insurance or financial services environments.
