We are seeking an experienced ETL Database Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering, with a strong background in data validation, ETL processes, and test automation. This role requires excellent technical skills and the ability to work effectively within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and develop complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Support and contribute to database test automation efforts.
- Utilize Selenium WebDriver or Playwright for automation testing.
- Collaborate with the team using Agile methodologies.
- Manage test cases and defects using tools such as Jira and Micro Focus Octane.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of data within data warehousing systems.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 8-10 years in software testing and quality engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with complex SQL queries (Oracle, SQL Server).
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in writing complex SQL for data validation.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, and Micro Focus Octane.
- Knowledge of Python and Unix/Shell scripting.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the banking or finance domain.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, AI/ML, and Tosca.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $55.00/hr - $60.42/hr. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
