We are seeking a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to convert and modernize existing Mainframe SAS-based processes into optimized Oracle SQL/PLSQL solutions. This role involves analyzing legacy SAS workflows, designing corresponding Oracle data-processing logic, and ensuring the efficient and accurate migration of business processes to the Oracle platform. The developer will also support the creation of a Java-based user interface for process maintenance and will collaborate with the technology manager for project updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Analyze existing Mainframe SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle-based execution.
- Ensure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of the developed Oracle solutions.
- Build and enhance a Java-based user interface for ongoing process maintenance.
- Utilize Python for automation, data processing, or migration support tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the technology manager for reporting, planning, and delivery oversight.
- Use JIRA for work management within an Agile or hybrid environment.
- Contribute to a collaborative, delivery-focused environment by supporting team members.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Experience with Mainframe SAS or COBOL.
- Working proficiency with Python.
- Experience supporting or integrating with Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow management tools.
