ETL Developer

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an ETL Developer to design, develop, maintain, and test software in collaboration with our development team and business partners. This role requires a hands-on developer to create ETL packages using Informatica PowerCenter and ensure the successful delivery and implementation of application solutions within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the ETL design of new or changing mappings and workflows, and prepare technical specifications.
• Create ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, and Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and prepare corresponding documentation.
• Design and build integrations supporting standard data warehousing objects, including type-2 dimensions, aggregations, and star schemas.
• Perform source system analysis as required.
• Develop, implement, and maintain job schedules for automated ETL processing, including error handling, notification, and logging.
• Write shell scripts and convert existing TCL scripts for file preprocessing.
• Develop complex queries and write PL/SQL stored procedures based on requirements.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• 8+ years of strong Informatica ETL experience.
• Proven experience with custom or structured ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience working with fact and dimension data models.
• Experience in data extraction from DB2 and Oracle.
• Experience parsing flat files and applying complex logic to process data.
• Experience in a full development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
• Financial domain experience is required.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 to $68.26 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
