Job: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EAM Functional Consultant to lead and support enterprise-wide SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) initiatives. This role will be responsible for end-to-end functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EAM solutions, with a strong focus on Plant Maintenance (PM/SM) and Project Systems (PS). The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, bridging business requirements with SAP best practices and emerging technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on functional design, configuration, and implementation expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), including PM/SM and PS modules.
- Lead and support full lifecycle SAP EAM implementations, encompassing:
- Business requirements gathering
- Business workshops and gap analysis
- Blueprinting and solution design
- System configuration and customization
- Testing (unit, integration, UAT)
- Cutover planning, data migration, and go-live
- End-user training and post go-live support
- Assess current-state business processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and define future-state EAM solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Translate detailed business requirements into comprehensive functional and system design documents, ensuring accurate and efficient SAP configuration.
- Capture business capability requirements, functional requirements, and service-level expectations, and develop SAP EAM solutions aligned to a business-IT roadmap supporting long-term strategic goals.
- Collaborate with EAM architects and leadership to identify opportunities for emerging technologies and advise stakeholders on the impact of new technologies on existing systems and processes.
- Ensure business and functional requirements are fully traceable and maintained throughout the development and configuration lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, project management, and technical teams to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and manage solution changes.
- Guide and validate complex fit/gap analyses, ensuring deviations from standard SAP functionality are well-justified, value-driven, and aligned with business needs.
- Manage engagement risk and economics, including planning, budgeting, deliverable definition, and stakeholder buy-in for proposed solutions.
- Provide consulting services for both new SAP EAM implementations and existing SAP support/enhancement projects.
- Deliver ad-hoc user training, knowledge transfer, and functional support as required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members when needed.
