Systems Administrator

Description

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support and strengthen our technology environment in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable on-premises and cloud-based systems, assisting users with technical issues, and helping deliver secure, well-documented IT services across the organization. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, strong troubleshooting ability, and a collaborative approach to infrastructure and support operations.

Responsibilities:
Deliver frontline and escalated technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and access issues while supporting daily IT operations across office and site environments.
Administer Microsoft Azure resources, including compute, storage, and networking services, with a focus on stability, performance, scalability, and cost-conscious management.
Manage identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID by maintaining user and group accounts, applying role-based permissions, and enforcing security controls such as multi-factor authentication and conditional access.
Perform routine administration of Windows-based servers, file services, and related infrastructure, including patching, software maintenance, and system configuration updates.
Monitor system health across cloud and on-premises environments, investigate service disruptions, and restore normal operations quickly to reduce downtime.
Oversee backup and recovery activities to protect business data and support continuity requirements in the event of system failure or data loss.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base content to support consistent service delivery and issue resolution.
Work closely with internal IT teams, external vendors, and project stakeholders to implement infrastructure initiatives and maintain a secure, integrated technology environment.
