We are looking for Warehouse Associate for our client in Portsmouth, VA

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Location: Portsmouth, VA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

This position involves various warehouse tasks including operating equipment and maintaining quality standards.

Requirement/Must Have:

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to perform basic math and read written operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
Operate forklifts, package and label customer orders, and utilize computer systems to process receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments.
Inspect incoming product and verify against shipping manifest for accuracy.
Elevate inventory discrepancies to inventory control or management for resolution.
Effectively work with QA organizations to disposition incoming product.

Nice to Have:

Ability to read product labels and picking sheets.
Forklift certification, or ability to become certified.
Ability to communicate discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
Must operate a rolling pushcart, electric forklift, and manual pallet jack.
