Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Management System (WMS) Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize WMS solutions that support end-to-end warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in warehouse management, supply chain distribution, system integrations, and enterprise solution architecture. This role will be responsible for ensuring WMS solutions align with business objectives, support operational efficiency, and integrate seamlessly with enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions to support warehouse operations and distribution processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into practical technical and functional solutions.
Demonstrate strong expertise in Supply Chain Distribution, including warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
Design, develop, and maintain data models, ER diagrams, and database structures to support integrations, reporting, and analytics.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes.
Analyze, document, and manage end-to-end data flows across WMS, ERP, transportation, and other enterprise applications.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across integrated systems and business processes.
Support enterprise integrations involving WMS, ERP, APIs, middleware, and external applications.
Troubleshoot integration issues related to data mapping, interfaces, workflows, and system connectivity.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and architects to define scalable warehouse management solutions.
Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, implementation, and post-production support activities.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management Systems, ERP implementations, or enterprise solution architecture.
Strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Deep understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution processes, logistics, and order fulfillment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including query development, stored procedures, optimization, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of Entity Relationship (ER) modeling and database design principles.
Experience with enterprise data architecture, data mapping, and system integration methodologies.
Hands-on experience integrating WMS, ERP, transportation, and enterprise applications.
Strong understanding of Inventory Management, Order Management, Logistics, and Distribution processes.
Proven ability to bridge business requirements with scalable technical solutions.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with leading WMS platforms such as Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder (JDA), Oracle WMS, SAP EWM, Krber, or HighJump.
Experience supporting warehouse automation, distribution center operations, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of middleware platforms, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, Logistics, or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environments.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel occasionally for workshops, implementation activities, and stakeholder meetings.
Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
