People Soft HCM- Payroll US and Canada- Part Time

We are looking for a Senior Primary Support Engineer to provide high-quality, remote support for complex PeopleSoft HCM environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving advanced issues, supporting customized implementations, and partnering closely with customers to deliver an exceptional support experience, with a strong emphasis on Canadian and North American Payroll.

What You’ll Do

• Resolve complex PeopleSoft HCM issues using structured, expert-level troubleshooting

• Provide remote functional support across multiple PeopleSoft modules

• Partner closely with customers to understand business needs and support operational changes

• Diagnose root causes and develop or recommend fixes for critical payroll and application issues

• Support and advise on customer-specific customizations and best practices

• Collaborate with a global, virtual support team to share knowledge and expertise

• Contribute to knowledge bases, diagnostic tools, and continuous process improvements

What You Bring

• 15+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience, Canadian Payroll required

• 5+ years supporting North American Payroll in a production environment

• Strong understanding of payroll business processes and year-end processing

• Experience supporting PeopleSoft releases 8.0 – 9.2, including configuration and administration

• Proven experience supporting application end users in a corporate or enterprise environment

• Excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Time and Labor, Global Payroll, and Benefits/HR modules

• Experience with payroll localizations, tax setup, and reporting

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
