Financial industry knowledge with deep expertise in S&P Global's specialized software platform, particularly the WSO (Wall Street Office) Software suite.
Required qualifications:
1. WSO Software and Technical Expertise
The SME must be a recognized authority on the specific technology used for loan portfolio management.

• WSO Software Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of the S&P Global WSO Software platform, which is a leading suite of software for loan portfolio administration. This includes functionality for performance analysis, compliance, accounting, reporting, and system integration.
• Module Specialization: Deep familiarity with specific WSO modules such as WSO Agent (for loan origination and administration) and WSO Accounting.
• System Integration: Knowledge of how the WSO Software integrates with third-party systems like agent banks, trustees, accounting systems, and rating agencies.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to analyze, design, and implement functional enhancements, document detailed requirements, and write functional specifications for product and technology teams, often working with SaaS and API products and understanding data formats like XML, JSON, and REST.

2. Financial and Market Domain Knowledge
   The SME's value is in applying the software to complex financial products and regulations.

• Syndicated Loan Market: Extensive working knowledge of the syndicated loan industry, including leveraged loans, private credit solutions, and the loan processing lifecycle.
• Financial Instrument Expertise: Strong understanding of the specific asset classes and investment vehicles WSO supports, such as CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations), CDOs, ABS, and separate managed accounts.
• Operational Workflows: Expertise in all client-facing operations, data processing functions, and strict adherence to industry standards like LSTA/LMA for processing loan transactions and trades.
• Risk & Compliance: Understanding of compliance modules and regulatory reporting requirements related to portfolio administration and credit analysis.

3. Experience and Education
   This is typically a mid-to-senior level role requiring years of dedicated focus.

• Experience: 10 plus years of direct work experience within the financial industry using WSO Software itself is required.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

4. Soft Skills
   The SME acts as a critical link between clients/operations and the technology team.

• Client Management: Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with clients, including senior members, addressing their needs, and providing support.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex financial or technical information clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying, analyzing, and resolving internal and external processing and system-related issues.
• Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to improve current processes and manage projects independently, often adhering to strict processing deadlines.
