Summary

JOB SUMMARY The Infrastructure Delivery Manager (Specialist) is responsible for managing the initiative, engaging and working with key business partners, and driving to successful outcomes within a given timeline. This position will have a primary focus on planning, execution, and delivery of IT Strategy initiatives. Key Responsibilities Identify customer needs, Manage Major End to End Initiatives, and ability to manage Large teams. Managing Finances and Budgets; determine ways to reduce costs and improve service availability. Defines project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners. Establishes, plans, and executes major milestone reviews and decision gates to complete the program and project life cycle. Ensures all required products are produced and reviewed, including technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution. Identifies and manages to the critical path and milestones of a schedule. Identifies risks affecting program and project deliverables with follow-through on mitigation, resolution, and path to green. Communicates proactively with all stakeholders in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and implementing efficient processes. Closely monitors project progress and ensures timely completion. Adheres to project management processes and procedures. Prepares and reports project status on a regular basis, including metrics needed for various risk groups. Demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and managing Project teams. Required Qualifications 10 - 14 years of overall experience in IT services, infrastructure/data center strongly preferred. 6+ years Delivery / Project & Program Management experience desired. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalents. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a Project or Initiative. Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and foster internal relationships. Certifications Professional Project Management Certification and Technical Certifications or equivalents. Education: Bachelors Degree Certification: Project Management Professional
