You will serve as a technical linchpin, optimizing system performance and ensuring that every phase of production meets the rigorous standards of the global automotive market.
What You’ll Do
Architect comprehensive manufacturing workflows for next-generation products, ensuring seamless integration from initial design to the assembly floor.
Engineer technical specifications for advanced machinery and specialized tooling, managing the entire procurement and installation cycle.
Synthesize complex process metrics and routings to establish a roadmap for peak operational efficiency and reliability.
Champion risk mitigation strategies by developing and maintaining rigorous Process FMEAs.
Analyze financial impacts through detailed manufacturing cost assessments and strategic make-vs-buy evaluations for critical components.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and elevate quality.
Resolve sophisticated technical bottlenecks related to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Facilitate the smooth transition of product lines from the research and development phase into full-scale production.
Design comprehensive training programs and preventative maintenance frameworks to empower technical staff and ensure equipment longevity.
What You Bring
Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Industry Expertise: Proven experience within Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of sector-specific demands.
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of CAD platforms (such as SolidWorks, ProEngineer, or AutoCAD) and a high level of comfort with the MS Office Suite.
Vendor Management: Demonstrated success in soliciting quotations, negotiating contracts, and managing equipment vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
Methodological Mastery: Hands-on application of Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced problem-solving tools to refine production ecosystems.
Quality Standards: Solid familiarity with TS16949 requirements and the ability to maintain compliance across all project phases.
Project Leadership: A history of executing complex engineering projects while consistently remaining under budget and ahead of schedule.
Communication: Elite verbal and written skills necessary to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Physical Capability: Comfort operating in both professional office settings and active production floor environments, including the ability to stand, walk, or sit for 8-hour shifts and frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
