Job Description
- Supports strategic campaigns that drive engagement, elevate brand presence, and support key organizational initiatives.
- Leads social media efforts to promote the Division's strategy, work efforts and accomplishments.
- This role requires an IT background to ensure technical alignment, compliance, and the effective integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, into communication strategies.
- Plays a key role in advancing enterprise AI adoption by leading awareness, communication, and training efforts that support organizational readiness and maximize the value of AI investments.
Key Responsibilities
Communication Campaigns
o Develop and maintain AI training program materials to support workforce education and adoption.
o Support targeted communication campaigns around major implementations, initiatives, and organizational changes.
o Ensure messaging consistency across all platforms and mediums.
o Support enterprise AI initiatives through targeted outreach, stakeholder engagement, and training-focused communications to drive awareness and adoption.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
o Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy.
o Assists with the development and delivery of creative assets (posts, graphics, videos) that align with organizational objectives.
o Assist with monitoring engagement trends and recommend adjustments to improve impact.
Brand Management
o Maintain and reinforce brand identity through all communications.
o Review newsletters, press releases, and other materials for consistent messaging and branding.
o Identify photo and media opportunities to enhance visibility.
Strategic Planning & Evaluation
o Support the development and implementation of communication strategies aligned with the organization's strategic plan.
o Track progress against measurable goals and assist in monitoring effectiveness using analytics and market research.
o Stay current on advancements in artificial intelligence, industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform communication approaches, workforce enablement, and organizational priorities.
Accessibility & Compliance
o Understand and apply EIR Accessibility requirements throughout the project lifecycle (planning, design, development, testing).
o Ensure resources and processes are in place to meet accessibility standards.
Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- 1 2 years of experience as a Marketing Communications Coordinator.
- Minimum of 1 2 years of experience with external documents such as newsletters or demonstrated equivalent writing and publishing design skills; public relations, marketing, targeted marketing, especially social media, promotional marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation tools, and web analytics for any agency.
- Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation.
- Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint; Access, and report writer and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Associated Press Style.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
4 - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Change Management or related field.
1-3 - Marketing and/or corporate communications experience.
