About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Integration Engineer to help build the next generation of video, audio, and image capture experiences for our digital reporting platform.
In this role, you will design and implement backend services that integrate with Azure OpenAI and Azure Speech, securely manage media in the cloud, and enable intelligent, real-time data extraction for users.
You will collaborate closely with product, frontend, and cloud teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant AI-driven features within a modern Java/Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices for handling video, audio, and image uploads.
• Integrate with Azure OpenAI and Azure Speech services for transcription, text-to-speech, and data extraction.
• Design and implement secure media storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage and related services.
• Optimize performance, latency, and reliability for real-time and batch AI workflows.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to build and enhance capture and playback APIs.
• Partner with cloud, security, and governance teams to ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Required Qualifications (Must Have):

• Bachelor''s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot backend development.
• 5+ years of experience in React frontend development.
• Strong experience with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS.)
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including storage and containerized applications.
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Speech, Vision APIs).
• Strong understanding of secure API design and access control.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with developers, product managers, QA, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub (including source control).
• Detail-oriented with a methodical and logical approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with media files (audio, video, images) and related APIs.
• Experience with WebSockets or streaming audio technologies.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools .
• Experience working in regulated or highly secure environment''s
