Kotlin Java AWS Platform Developer Cloud Provisioning & DevOps Engineering - 68566
Pay Rate: $40 -$47/hr
We have an urgent need for a Kotlin Java AWS Platform Developer for an onsite opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA OR Raleigh, NC. This role involves working on the re-architecture of a large-scale provisioning platform supporting enterprise cloud services and scalable platform solutions. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to build highly available and flexible systems capable of supporting Platform-as-a-Service and custom composition models.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing scalable backend platform services using Kotlin and Java technologies within AWS environments. The role requires hands-on involvement in platform modernization initiatives, cloud-native architecture development, provisioning workflows, and service scalability improvements. Candidates should be comfortable building resilient distributed systems and contributing across the software development lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, and operational support. Developers are expected to handle basic DevOps responsibilities and participate in support rotations to ensure platform stability and operational efficiency.
Required skill sets include strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, AWS, and DynamoDB along with experience building scalable cloud-native applications and provisioning platforms. Candidates should possess knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, API development, and cloud infrastructure concepts. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and production support activities is highly preferred.
