Description: Software Engineer (Contingent Resource) - Irving, TXAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to support complex, large-scale initiatives within our organization. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional and client teams to evaluate technical challenges, architect scalable solutions, and influence long-term engineering strategy.
You will analyze multifaceted software engineering problems, including those with limited precedent, and deliver thoughtful, well-structured recommendations. Success in this assignment requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.
What You'll Do- Lead and contribute to complex, high-impact engineering initiatives and long-range technical planning.
- Evaluate large-scale software engineering challenges that require assessment of multiple variables, including ambiguous or unprecedented factors.
- Develop recommendations and solutions aligned with engineering best practices, policy requirements, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate strategically with client stakeholders to understand needs, influence decision-making, and drive successful outcomes.
- Build and optimize scalable systems with a focus on speed, reliability, and performance.
- Leverage AI tools and frameworks to accelerate development and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of professional, consulting, training, military, or academic experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, React, and relational database technologies.
- Background in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Demonstrated ability to architect, build, and maintain scalable systems.
- Ability to use AI-driven tools and methodologies to increase delivery speed and quality.
