Technical System Analyst – SaaS

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy client environments across CRIMS / OMS platforms
• Execute end-to-end upgrades, including application deployment, batch configuration, and system integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across batch processes, interfaces, configurations, and system performance
• Perform log analysis and root cause investigation for technical issues and defects
• Support system testing, validation, and go-live activities to ensure production readiness
• Assess client infrastructure and environments for upgrade compatibility and readiness
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans
• Develop and execute upgrade plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation
• Lead technical implementation activities, including installation, configuration, and environment validation
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth transition and issue resolution during upgrades
• Implement deployment approaches that minimize downtime and disruption to client operation
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and operational procedures throughout delivery
• Act as the primary technical contact during upgrades, managing issues and communications with stakeholders
• Escalate complex technical issues or system-level failures to appropriate engineering teams
• Document processes, solutions, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root cause analysis skills
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and/or Sybase
• Solid understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations
• Familiarity with infrastructure components (servers, operating systems, monitoring tools)
• Experience within financial services, investment management, or trading systems (CRIMS preferred)
• Exposure to networking, scripting, XML, programming languages, scheduling tools, monitoring platforms, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes
• Ability to work independently within the defined delivery scope
