Circular Center Technician -is the team behind the world's largest cloud infrastructure. As a
Circular Center Technician, you will play a key role in the client's commitment to sustainability, asset lifecycle optimization, and zero-waste operations. You will support data center material flows, ensure secure handling and disposition of assets, and uphold the highest standards of operational excellence and compliance.
ResponsibilitiesCircular Center Operations- Coordinate, execute, and track inbound and outbound material flows, including purchase order (PO) receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor (RMS) activities, and asset staging.
- Maintain end-to-end physical inventory accuracy through detailed tracking, cycle counts, audits, and data corrections.
- Perform material movement operations-shipping, receiving, storage, and processing-following established standards and safety guidelines.
Secure Asset & Data Handling- Perform secure decommissioning and destruction of data-bearing devices (DBDs) according to security and compliance requirements.
- Follow all runbooks, SOPs, and regulatory procedures governing data center asset lifecycle management.
- Support audit activities related to compliance, asset custody, and certification controls.
Systems & Operational Support- Monitor operational systems for performance issues, equipment alerts, or workflow interruptions and escalate as appropriate.
- Investigate and respond to system error messages, assisting with remediation or triage to minimize operational disruptions.
- Support engineers and analysts by contributing to software testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word) and internal inventory or workflow systems to update records and generate reports.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, inventory management, or IT-related material handling..
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound judgment in fast-paced or high-volume environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a data center environment
- Associate's degree in IT, logistics, business operations, or a related field.
- Experience with asset lifecycle management, sustainability programs, or circular economy workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, ticketing tools, or data center infrastructure management platforms.
