Position: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Remote

Duration:  6-12 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Need have excellent communication
• Ideally candidates would have experience with finance and  Source to Pay but this is not a must.
• Candidates will need to do a technical assessment that will also ping there IP addresses to make sure they are in the Austin area or able to relocate quickly.

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications. This role requires strong technical acumen and effective collaboration in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, and AngularJS.
2. Implement client-side and server-side configurations, including business rules, UI policies, and scripted REST APIs.
3. Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow workflows supporting Finance and Source-to-Pay processes, including purchase requisitions, vendor onboarding, invoice routing, and approval workflows.
4. Design and implement workflows using ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM product suites and Flow Designer.
5. Execute technical solutions defined by architects and process engineers while minimizing technical debt.
6. Deliver update sets and support release management aligned with Agile methodologies.
7. Develop and maintain ServiceNow AppEngine applications, Workspaces, and Dashboards.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address implementation tasks and ensure project alignment.
9. Conduct ServiceNow upgrades, patching, regression testing, and remediation.
10. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing in ServiceNow with a strong understanding of its scripting languages and framework.
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core architecture, ITSM, and ITOM product suites.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow workflows supporting Finance and Source-to-Pay processes, including purchase requisitions, vendor onboarding, invoice routing, and approval workflows.
• Hands-on experience with workflow configuration, Flow Designer, and automation tools in ServiceNow.
• Experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprints and iterative cycles.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow AppEngine, Workspaces, and Dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in technical documentation.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with integrating ServiceNow with external systems using APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
