Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated L1/L2 Network & Infrastructure Support Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support onsite IT operations in Louisville, KY. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network and infrastructure systems to ensure availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor network and infrastructure systems using monitoring tools
Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests
Perform initial diagnostics and troubleshooting
Support LAN, WAN, and VLAN connectivity
Verify network devices including switches and firewalls
Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IP-related issues
Monitor servers, VMs, and system performance (CPU, memory, disk)
Perform basic VMware and server support tasks
Handle incidents through ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Jira)
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation
Provide onsite “hands & feet” support as required

Required Skills

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Basic knowledge of VLANs and networking concepts
Experience with Windows Servers and VMware
Familiarity with network monitoring tools
Experience in L1/L2 support or NOC environment
Knowledge of ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira
Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Additional Requirements

Must be comfortable working onsite in Louisville, KY
Willing to work weekends or off-hours when required
Ability to follow SOPs, runbooks, and incident processes
