Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage reporting catalogs by comparing new requests against existing inventory and recommending content additions or removals.
Integrate reporting strategies across multiple programs and projects while ensuring alignment with business strategies and management priorities.
Incorporate multiple disparate data sources from data platforms and data warehouses into the overall reporting framework.
Collaborate with Principal Solutions Architects to ensure data platform design and processes are optimally aligned with reporting tools for performance and an enhanced end-user experience.
Collaborate with project teams on systems and data analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement activities, including maintenance and complex production support.
Assist in defining the scope of multiple complex projects and serve as a project point of contact when required.
Participate in functional, technical, and user acceptance testing activities and resolve identified defects.
Build and modify database tables and views, and optimize SQL queries and indexes.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting best practices and standards.
Build effective partnerships with coworkers and coordinate efforts to support team, department, and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
