Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and fluent Remote Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately translating written content from one language to another while maintaining the original tone and context. This role offers flexibility and requires excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a passion for languages.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate documents, websites, emails, and other content from source language to target language.
Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and convey the original meaning.
Review and edit translated materials for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
Collaborate with clients and team members to clarify project requirements.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Maintain terminological consistency and adhere to style guides.
Keep up-to-date with language trends, terminology, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a translator or in a similar role.
Fluency in at least two languages (specify languages).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Proficiency with translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar).
Bachelor's degree in Languages, Linguistics, or related field preferred.
